He did his postgraduate, superspeciality education and training at the Institute of Neurology, Madras Medical College, Chennai.
Prior to his current assignment, Dr. TS Muthu served as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Neurology of Madras Medical College in Chennai, and as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Child Health, also in Chennai. He has 19 years’ overall experience in medical practice, of which the last seven (2009-2015) have been in the Neurology speciality.
Dr. Muthu attends to outpatients and inpatients suffering from neurological illnesses, including those requiring neurological intensive care. He is also involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and students of physiotherapy and nursing. Dr. Muthu has presented a number of papers and posters at national medical conferences. He enjoys writing articles on health-related topics for the general public and conducting educational programmes for medical professionals.
